First Jersey Title – Operations Manager

Regular Full-Time Position

Location:  Broadway – Fair Lawn, NJ at First Jersey Title Services

 

Description: Responsible for the supervision, administration and coordination of the day-to-day activities.  Acts as a liaison with company management and Columbia Bank Human Resources Department regarding staffing, payroll, and other human resources issues.

Maintains the efficient and effective servicing of clients, and the delivery of a quality product and increases productivity. Exercises the usual authority of an office manager, demonstrates a commitment to Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action.

 

To be considered for this position you should have the following Job Requirements:

  • Unless determined otherwise by the Bank, applicants should be in their current position for at least one year to apply;
  • Bachelor’s Degree and 5 or more years of title, settlement and closing experience required;
  • Strong knowledge of closing laws/regulations in the state of NJ;
  • New Jersey Title Producers License is required;
  • Attorney licensed in the State of New Jersey (preferred);
  • Ability to manage, oversee staff and carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws;
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and organizational skills;
  • Excellent knowledge and proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook;
  • Excellent attention to details, accuracy and quality;
  • Must possess effective communication skills both verbal and written;
  • Must be able to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines;
  • Excellent attention to details, accuracy and quality;
  • Must possess good organizational skills and be flexible and adaptable in a changing environment;
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a professional and discrete manner;
  • Integrity, initiative, and a proven work ethic;
  • Experience in technology building and a strong desire to improve and move forward with existing programs.
